Welcome to the Nigerian Heritage / African Gift Store Vendor Platform ("the Platform"). By registering and listing your products on our platform, you ("the Vendor") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Vendor Registration & Eligibility
- Vendor registration and product listing are free for the first 500 vendors.
- All vendors must provide accurate business and product information during registration.
- Nigerian Heritage reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate any vendor account at its sole discretion.
2. Product Listing
- Vendors may list eligible products that align with the cultural and heritage vision of the African Gift Store.
- Listings must include clear descriptions, pricing, and quality images.
- Nigerian Heritage reserves the right to remove or modify listings that violate its policies or brand values.
3. Sales Commission
- Nigerian Heritage will charge a 5% commission on the sale price of each item sold through the platform.
- This commission is automatically deducted before vendor payment is processed.
4. Delivery Responsibilities
- Vendors are responsible for paying the initial delivery fee for any item sold.
- Delivery must be prompt, and tracking or delivery confirmation must be provided where applicable.
- Once the customer confirms receipt of the item, the delivery fee will be reimbursed to the vendor.
5. Vendor Payments
- Nigerian Heritage will process payment to the vendor only after the item has been successfully delivered and confirmed by the customer.
- Payments will be made via the payment method provided during registration (e.g., bank transfer).
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring their payment information is accurate and up to date.
6. Returns and Disputes
- Vendors are required to honor reasonable return and refund requests, as guided by Nigerian Heritage's refund policy.
- Disputes between customers and vendors will be mediated by Nigerian Heritage, and its decision will be final.
7. Vendor Conduct
- Vendors must conduct business with integrity, including honest representation of products, timely communication, and fulfillment of all orders.
- Fraudulent, unethical, or non-compliant behavior may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
8. Modifications to Terms
- Nigerian Heritage reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
- Vendors will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Nigerian Heritage shall not be liable for any loss, damages, or delay caused by vendor mismanagement, third-party courier failure, or inaccurate listings.
10. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
