Description
The Yemoji Natural Pool, situated in Imagbon, approximately 6 kilometers from Ijebu Ode along the Ijebu Ode–Epe Expressway, is a serene and historic natural spring. Established in 1937 by colonial authorities, the pool was originally a ferry terminal for transporting goods to Lagos. Today, it stands as a tranquil retreat, offering visitors a refreshing dip in its cool, clear waters. The river, believed to have originated from a blessing by a sojourner in the village of Ilone, is also known as the "African River Jordan" due to its spiritual significance.
